Scenario-Based Curriculum

Unlike traditional flight training courses, Streamline Aviation’s curriculum goes beyond practicing maneuvers to pass a test. Rather, our scenario-based lessons provide real-world experiences to develop critical Aeronautical Decision Making skills in addition to solid stick-and-rudder skills.

Each flight lesson in our curriculum incorporates Single-Pilot Resource Management principles that are fundamental to effective decision making. Advances in internet and aviation technologies are rapidly increasing the number of resources available to pilots. Our customers emerge with the knowledge and experience to effectively manage these resources as a skilled pilot.

Modern Simulator

The cockpit is a poor learning environment for many aspects of training. Using a flight simulator greatly enhances the learning process for technical procedures such as holding patterns and instrument approaches. Our two-screen, computer-based simulator creates an ideal training environment with the ability to pause, replay, and view the airplane’s position and ground track at anytime. When combined with an instructor who performs the role of air traffic control, this training method is an unbeatable way to isolate procedures and maximize efficiency.

Supporting Material

Streamline Aviation instructors use standardized procedures that incorporate best practices from the airline and military aviation communities. A concise manual with each procedure along with illustrations, references, and examples is provided to each customer. Instead of trying to learn procedural steps in the airplane, you will learn them beforehand – on the ground. This enables you to focus on situational awareness and execution in the cockpit, minimizing frustration and training expense.
