Minimum Training Requirements

(FAA Regulations - 14 CFR Part 61)

50 hours cross-country flight time as Pilot-in-Command
40 hours actual or simulated instrument time
15 hours instrument flight training from an instructor
Pass a knowledge test
Pass a practical test (flight test)

General Eligibility Requirements

Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Hold an FAA Medical Certificate
